Trimma tevegae. (?)

Anyone have/had one of these guys? I think it's also called a flag tail goby or a blue line dwarf goby.

I'm curious if he's a know jumper. He's eating pods but I'd also like to know if he will take other foods.

Another great MCF legacy in my tank!

Yeah I saw him a week ago and fell in love. I had them reserve him before all the stuff. I got lucky that he was still there and I could make it in. I guess he was just meant to be mine. :D

Beautiful and tiny! I would be worried with certain crabs and shrimp and of course bigger more aggressive fish.

Thanks, I think he will rule my frag tank until I upgrade later. I'm pretty sure my female clown would eat him just out of spite in my 28. hopefully the blue and red herms in there will not be a problem.

All crabs are oportunistic. They eat both meat and algae. If they see the chance to get a meal (sleeping fish on bottom, vulnerable snail, ect), they may try grab and eat it.
I would not be suprised if a larger red leg managed to grab him. The small blue ones are less likely. Its pretty uncommon for a hermit to grab a fish though, because they are nowhere near as fast as shell-less crabs (emerald, arrow, sally lightfoot, ect.).
Personally, I wold put all crabs in another tank until he gets a little bigger. Although you will likely be fine, if something does happen you'll be kicking yourself.

thanks and very true. it's not like they will be hard to catch in there :)

I say keep him or her in the frag tank

He jumped. I think the new 4line wrasse was bothering him. Now I have one dead fish (my first) and one I hate. This hobby sucks. Too bad it's so addictive. RIP lil buddy.
