Are these LEDS good?

My friend bough himself some LEDS from ebay and I am not sure if they will be any good. I dont think they are good because they were so cheap. I just gave him a bunch of soft corals, so he doesnt need super strong lights for any hard corals. I think he will still run some power compacts along with these.

I think those will support soft corals at most. Your friend can try out some of the cheap sps and see how it goes but I think they might brown out from these and maybe bleach.

There are some LED pendants for $60 each that will keep nems and LPS alive. This is just a cheapo marineland LED knockoff.

IMO the true way to find out is if he or you had a PAR reader. Although a PUR reader would be better. Just my 2cents
