I have a sump that came with a bunch of stuff I bought off cl a while back. I have no info on it at all other than doing the math. it's 10 gallons if filled to the top. On one side it had a big removable box filled w/ bioballs. I took that part out completely. There are a few wierd compartments in the center, i assume those are for media.
My tank is 75 gallons. My thoughts were to use the sump mainly to hang my bakpak on it instead of the tank in an effort to quiet things down a little.
Here are the main questions...
1. Is it worth using a 10 gallon sump on a 75 tank?
2. What other advantages are there to having the sump going?
3. is putting the skimmer on the sump a smart move?
