Acrylic Scratch Remover

What do you guys recommend as far as scratch remover for acrylic tanks? Will be used while the tank is empty.
Ive tried Novus 123, it removes some, but not all scratches last time I used it.

I start with a 1000 grit sandpaper, wet it then move to a 1500 then use the Novus 1,2,3

I've used "Bar Keepers Friend" ; you do have to rinse the tank THOROUGHLY afterwards though.

So on an acrylic, do you just use one of those rotating sander with the sandpaper and sand everything? Or do you just sand the specific areas that are scratched? Ive never sanded acrylic before and I'm scared to sand and screw up the whole tank.
Anyone ever try to use a powerful buffer?

Where do I buy 1000 and 1500 sandpaper? I went to home depot and the finest sandpaper I saw was 600.

you check autozone or pepboys Nino.
i used Lifegard Aquatics Acrylic Scratch Removal before but Novus is so far best product out there.
