Hi everyone new to CR and pretty new reefer too

Hi all,
January 2015 I set up an Aqueon 15g column with no idea what I was doing. Actually wasn't even planning on making it a reef. I've had Fish Only Salt tanks before with reasonable success many years ago but broke them down due to moves. Well in the last year i've learned a lot and have had great success with my little nano reef and I'm currently in the middle of a 180g reef build. Lucky for me the hobby shop I own is literally right next door to a Reef store. So really looking forward to my reefing future. For better or worse.

welcome aboard Phil. That's jumping in with both feet, 15g to 180g hahahahaha. Also good luck with being next to a reef store, it can be like a meth addict by living next to a meth lab :D

So true. I could never do that. Id be homeless, but my cardboard box would have one bada$$ reef

Yeah I already own a Hobby Store. That's like a Alcoholic owning a bar. Having the reef store next to me is equally as dangerous. I've Married to my wife for 14 years. We have had FOWLR tanks in the past but she really likes the little reef which is making this easier. And by easier I mean far more dangerous to the pocket book. just realized I didn't have any recent photos of my tank and my 180 build on my phone but I'll see if can get an older one or 2 up and more later.

Edit: Well I tried to add some photos from my phone but they wer flipped and terrible quality. So I'll try photbucket in a bit

Thank you everyone for the welcomes. I'll try and get some decent photos tomorrow when the lights come back on. And i think I have to reset my photobucket password again. Lol. Don't use it much. But I guess that's going to change here soon. I've been crawling the other forums off and on but actually just came across CR. Cool having the local influence and references. Really digging it. I was off today so I've spent all day reading.
 
Well I was finally able to at least get a few older pics up. I'll be working on the 180 build tomorrow so hopefully I'll remember to take a few photos and posts them. I'll be putting in the supports and floor for the sump. Will also trim and start priming. Plan on getting the DT on top by next weekend
