Different lighting will make it change.. Hot pink, green & pink, green & red.. This is what I have seen with my own eyes.
Brake a section and place it lower.. If you get some green, than you have a red planet

poo, mines in the middle of my tank... it's got green base with purple tips... The OP's post was always what i known as red planet also.

The lighting on the photograph is blowing out the picture so an accurate ID cannot be give on the photo alone.
