So I have 6 bulb Current pro. and now run 2 Tru Actinic, 2 Tru 10k, and 2 Fiji Purple

what 2 bulbs would you run majority of time (doesn't need to be any of these)?

What 6 bulbs would you run for the 4-5 hour mid-day window?

I would like to run 2 not quite so blue, then what do I really want? 14K, 20K? Pull my 10k's and one purple and put in bluePlus?
 
What type of coral do have or nplan to have? Reason I ask is because those 2 tru actinics are at 420nm and they produce no par. This means that you're only really getting usable light out of the other 4 bulbs.

Color spectrum is a personal choice. Some want more blue, some want less. If you pull your 10k's and replace them with Blue Plus then you are going to have a very, very blue tank. (I wouldn't do that.) In my experience I've found that only 1 Fiji Purple was needed to acentuate the reds and oranges. (This is an excellent bulb, btw.)

I'd consider going with 1 Fiji Purple and only 1 true actinic. Reason being is that the 420nm you get from a true actinic will also be present in a blue plus (which is a combo of mostly 454nm with some 420nm.). So you can get enough 420nm from the blue plus without needing a 2nd true.

In a 6 bulb I'd go with 1 Fiji Purple, 3 Blue plus, 1 True Actinic and 1 Coral Plus

If its too blue, then swap the true actinic for another daylight bulb.
 
What works for one may not work for you . Find what you like and try it and see how your corals respond. Different corals react different .

I'll have an order in for some new bulbs, going to give the coral+ another try, but i still stand behind my 6 bulb recommendation until further notice.

I really like the KZ NewGen 14000k as well, and have one in my bulb box, but have really grown to prefer the GE as my "daylight" bulb. I LOVE running the Fiji purple with a blue+ for dawn/dusk, and put the actinic bulb(s) on the daytime channel for the extra color spectrum.

Aquablues are crap these days with all the other options. Dont waste money on them. Aquablue and Blue+ are completely different.

If you insist on an ATI daytime bulb get the Coral+, but I really think you would like the setup I have listed. Very blue, and the ivory of the GE bulb helps balance out the color of your corals.
