    Yes, kalk is all I use. I don’t test alkalinity nearly as often as I should. I’ve been dumping a bunch of vinegar in my kalk slurry to supersaturate. I may need to put the calcium reactor online soon, but I’d rather not if I don’t have to. Just more crap to maintain and more potential fail...

    You might consider turning your flow down for an hour or so until the nem settles. As far as feeding it, you could try after it has settled. Personally I wouldn’t worry about feeding until I see it settled and exhibiting a relaxed and comfortable behavior. Very exciting, we look forward to...

    Yes, the powerhead can be a problem for anemones. However, I’ve found that if the nem is comfortably in the tank and finds a preferred rock with a good foothold spot they generally will not climb up the glass to toward the powerheads.
