may be a late reply .. as for lighting i use a Radion Gen 4 pro also, serves well .. my tank foot print is 24x24. you can use 26HD as well if you hang it up high enough and run at higher intensity.

just did a 50% water change, dilution is the solution for phosphates :) will do another 25% water change over the weekend and then recheck phos again .. Plan to keep Alkalinity at 8 - 8.5 ongoing

no RODI water wont work for fresh water tanks either .. it doesnt have the needed ions.. and kill the fish .. the salt we mix has them . it purely depends on what you wanna keep in the fresh water tank .. plants really dont care. shrimp - regulars dont care , delicate species do .. fish --...

Yes im fast like that (flash) Lol no .. it is the same setup/rock i had from 4 years .. i just did a complete cleanup and 100 percent waterchange, got rid of sand and cleaned everything. Haven’t done a water change in over a year just been filling ato and fish feeder :) nothing survived...
