Hey all! Awesome i found a forum for Chicago-ans....though im in the suburbs..
Anyways Ive got my 10gallon reef tank up to a start as i just brought home a dual stalk xenia frag (2 frags for the price of one basically).
Just have a small coral banded shrimp, a kinda mocha clownfish, and some blue leg hermits with a blue tuxedo urchin.
been going for about 2 months (cycle was only 3 weeks due to the awesome live rock i found!)
Anyways... ill soon be uping the tank to my 35gallon acrylic tank that should arrive on the 7th! Question is...
How hard are nems to care for? Is it just water conditions that kills them? or lighting? feeding? or a combo of all three?
Looking for a small one to possibly keep in my 10g and then move to the 35 once its ready. I have a 4x18watt t5 HO fixture on top of the 10g and will be going with DIY GU10's for my 35g (easy to get into higher lighting then).
Any species that comes to mind that might host my clown? Thanks!
