Use the GE 2 stuff .

I thought that the GE II was the one with the mold and mildew additives? So I have GE I but I could only find it in either clear or white.

I thought ge 1 had the mold additive now im not sure

Yeah, all of my research has it GE good and GE II bad. I ended up using DAP 100% black silicone.

Ok. Finally got help moving the tank to the garage to water test. Well, exterior seal holds. BUT??? The seals around overflow boxes not so much. Small leak in both. So, starting over.

Ok. It was recommended on another forum to not reinstall the overflow boxes. Has anyone seen this type of setup?
