So as more and more space was taken up by zoas I began looking for things to fill the rest of the space. Ben aka AA Corals came up with the idea to glue stuff to the back wall, and i tell ya it was a good one. Now there are 3 millies on the wall and a few others on the shelf. Im lovin it and cant wait for this stuff to fill in and create different levels/ tables of coral.

My very own strain of shroom, the blue washes out the other colors but its orange, green, red, and blue. Theres a new baby on the left starting to get bigger, im planning on growing these out and selling babies once i have 3-4 for where the rock and sand meet.

Oh yeah.

Best of luck with SPS in a 2 gallon Landon. It's quite difficult to keep parameters stable in such a small volume.

:loldude: Its been pretty easy going so far. Id say the maintenance is pretty high on this lil system but its well worth it. I do weekly 15%-20% water changes, run roughly 50 grams of carbon and 10 grams of phosban along with macroalgae and chatoe in the back. Theres a filter pad i change once a week to catch scuz and there are ceramic hexs covered in denitrifying bacteria. Ill take a picture of the madness that is the sump of this tank. though ik yours is much more packed :P
Also the ponape has grown 1/4" in the last month or so, setosa 1/8 to 3/16 or so on all branches and the garf is growing a tiny bit in the 3 weeks or so that ive had it. better growth than in my 46 when it was up and running.

Here are pics of the "sump" ;P

macro algae isnt visible, the mesh bag is holding the phosban.

You can see a little piece of LR with a hawaiian duster on it back there too ahah
Also looking at these pics i really need to replace the filter pad, oops.

Looking good! I got a 6 pack of those filter pads on Amazon for a couple bucks a month ago. Not sure if they are still that cheap but worth checking.

Trying something out. How accurate is this adjusted pic (used your sand as white reference):

definitely better, and thanks for the filter pad tip. ill take a pic with white only. The mushroom is really quite bright, no dark colors

That was just the simple iPhoto app on my iPhone. Saved the pic and under color editing you can choose white balance. Pick a white reference and there you go. Could probably mess with it more but then it starts looking fake. Just wanted to see if it would work properly on a pic off the web.
