29g biocube questions

Im setting up 29 biocube and I've read different things as far as setting it up, I did get it used, I've read about center compartment I can put chaeto then chemi pur elite and that's it, then I read chemi elite in over flow box then chaeto in middle compartment and live rock under it?
Can I please get advice, lol it's racking my brain
Oh and the filter pad goes in overflow box .
Thanks guys I always try to research before I post but man researched from 10 sites got me 10 differ answers

I ran 2 cubes for a very long time. I tried all the options you have listed above. In the end I switched to just running cheaeto in the center and that was it.
