Ok so I have posted a couple of times already, but have never really introduced myself. I currently have an 8 gal Nuvo that has been setup for about 3 months. Not too much in there a couple of frags from Aquatica and MCF. I am extremely new to reefing, but I have been literally reading every forum for the last 3 months. I am horrible with the names of everything, so I simply walk into LFS, point and say, "I like that, will that work in my tank?" I am slowly getting a little better and hope to be more familiar soon. I am also starting a 137 gal rimless 48x30x22. I just ordered the tank from ReefSavvy. I hope to be receiving it about April when I get back from my cruise. I have my lights (2 Ecotech Radions) courtesy of SkullV (thanks Ted). I will mostly be doing LPS, Softies and maybe s a few SPS if I get comfortable enough. Still learning, so I will definately be asking ?'s. I going to be buying a bunch of equipment soon, so if anyone knows of any deals.. feel free to shoot me pm.. thanks

A few SPS? With those lights you can go full blown!

lol yeah just don't know with my experience or lack of I could handle it. I literally feel I have no clue with what I am doing!! Total newb with reefing. I am trying very hard to learn but so much to learn. I am totally hands on, so I am sure I will go that route after a while... and btw you have an awesome tank. I lurked on your page a lot.

IMO, lighting is a very small part of keeping sps. Look into skimmers, dosing pumps, reactors, vortechs ph, salts, and read allot more. I don't mean to be a downer at all but a system has to have all of the key elements to be successful. Your on the right track. That rimless sound like allot of fun. Keep trolling threads and ask many questions.

I would experiment with a few sps, but don't buy twenty frags and expect to have an awesome tank in a month.

yeah I am getting 2 vortechs mp40's, plan on doing dosing pump and a reactor. I know it will be a process, and since I've literally been waiting 3 months and need to wait 2 more before I can set it up... I will have lots of time to continue to learn. SkullV has been a great help and I expect a bunch of you guys will help me out in the future.
