ok so I got this booster pump from bigkev... a long time ago and I plan to hook it up its an aquatic 88000 but the weird thing is when I shut off the water going to the pressure switch it goes on and when I turn on the water it shuts off


I have it like this

water in ......then booster pump ... then pressure switch then rodi

also I have tried it like this


water in...... pressure switch .... booster pump.... then rodi


if I bypass the switch it runs the pump (so I know the pump works ( I must have some thing wrong for it to be working backwards


any ideas?
 
shouldn't pressure switch be on the out of the di? if switch is reading high pressure it shuts off pump.
 
I just got one of these as well. The pressure switch should go on the outlet side of the Ro membrane. At least that's where BRS's video said to put it.. Works great once u figure it out!

yep jay was right .. my way of thinking was you have the sensor on the line from water coming out from the faucet.. when the cylenoid ( for the ato) shuts off the pressure would build up shutting off the pump ... but yea I goes on the line out of the ro/di unit .. and works great... I know I had something wrong lol :)

now I have to fix my resivour it appears to be leaking on the sides ( luckily I found McMaster carr sells Weldon 16 ) and its only 5 bucks
