Acan eating Nemo

So I picked up a couple small clownfish on Saturday, even though I have never had luck with them, and last night I came home to this. The fish were doing great when my wife and I left for dinner but when we returned home the Acan was also having dinner. Oh well......the bad luck streak with clown fish continue. My blenny has a front row seat watching what's going down.
 
I think that It just got too close to the acan. Like I said, I had just put food in the tank so my guess is that the acan was fully stretched out looking for food.
 
The hermit crab that's on the rock next to it grabbed it right after I took the pic. He and his hermit friends had a feast throughout the night.
 
That is nuts! Sorry for your loss. Maybe your clowns that died in the past have been stung by this acan too.
 
That probably is what happened but its weird that just 2 hours prior it was eating and showed no signs of stress.
 
Will be interesting to see if the Acan actually ingests it, coughs it up, or chokes and dies!

If it ingest it, it will be interesting to see if it puts growth or slumber...
