acrylic rod

i have two acrylic rod from BRS that i didnt use. free if you want to pick up. i am by harwood heights

I just bought a pack from amazon. 20 pieces, 3/16" (quite thin but all I needed), 8" long per rod.

I just drilled holes near equal size and fit them together with some gel superglue and then bonded the rocks with epoxy putty. Worked really well and relatively inexpensive as well.

JB WaterWeld

I have heard many people have used it before without issues but since I have the luxury of time with this build, I'm cycling my rock in a brute container to remove anything that would be concerning anyway.

People have used it to fix their aquascape in a running tank without ill effects. I just try to limit the number of factors if something starts going down hill.

I agree that's why I am kinda thinking on passing on it maybe I'll just buy the aquarium epoxy that people use for corals
