cheapest method is to buy a acrylic cutter for $3 at lowes.

fine tooth circular saw with the blade backwards it also helps to tape the areas you are cutting through unless it still has the plastic on it from the factory.

Petersen plastics lists 3/8 2x4 sheet for $60 or 4x8 for $179. Check their prices on website I provided earlier.
