no problem, awesome Iphone app called "instacollage free". I use it way more then I thought I would.

Maybe due to one having more room to grow down? If I'm not mistaken SPS likes to make a solid base first then grow outwards, and it looks like one has more room to grow down than the other.

And what's the difference in flow for the different sides?

to me it looks like lighting, the one on the left looks to be a brighter picture then the one on the right. (in my side by side)

I did this semi-intentionally.

The frags were both were placed 5-6" from the top of the tank. The better looking one sits directly under the light.

The less impressive one was set farther back in the tank 5-6 inches from the wall. visually it looked like it had plenty of light, reality tells a different tale.
