Anemone missing

I had a rbta anemone for around 4 months now. As of two days ago this guy has been missing in my 90 g. He was super healthy and had no signs of being sick. I know they can shrink down to almost nothing but he was the size of about a softball when fully expanded. There are no signs of decaying matter anywhere,no leftovers, all water parameters in check, and my clowns are lonely. The only change in my tank that may have pissed him off is that I raised my light fixture from 5.5 inches above the tank to 7.5 inches.( Hot weather started raising my water temp from 79 to around 80.5 during the day) My light is two 250 mh with 2 96 watt dual actinic pc's.
Has this happened to anyone before and the outcome was good?

And yes, I did look for him almost everywhere. I ripped apart all plumbing looking for the remains of this guy and nothing has come up. This was my favorite creature in my reef tank, that kind of why I am pissed!

Mine disappeared for over a month. I thought forsure it was gone. Then one day it just appeared out of no where. Couple days later it decided to climb up my Tri-color and then i got rid of it lol

I have a lta the size of a dinner plate and at one time he disappeared on me for a week or 2 after being in the same place for about year and I also looked everywhere.

I also have a bta that moved around a bit after I put it in and eventually ended up in the same spot where I originally put it.

It will turn up sooner or later. And with MH you might want to start looking into getting a chiller, but at least for now put a fan up there.

When they deflate they can squeeze in the tiniest holes in your rock. I wouldn't move my rocks around as you might possible damage it or block its hole and not let it out. Give it time.
