On my weekly pet store visit I happen to stop in at Animal Krackers on 115th st and kedzie. Wow! They used to have beautiful tanks. Now everything is a sea of green. Algae that is; and its thick too.

I finally I saw a maxi anenome for $24, but its on a medium rock. They lady called the owner to varify pricing atleast three time and was no help. They wanted to chrage me $8,for a rock that weighs .66lbs. Their liverovk is 5.99 lb. So she made another call. Now all the sudden the anenome us 32 plus the $4 rock. Idk how they figure pricing. I was very upset after trying to discuss this with this poor young girl that was so confused. After giving her an off at $28 total she called again. Sold! Yay! All of that took 40 min. The best part was a bout 5 honors shot out of the rock at store. Well I ended up with one. $28 for beautiful maxi gobie and lr. Awesome.

Yeah, their tanks suck....they weren't always bad looking, and they're pricing can be kinda high. I go in once a week just to look too.

Lol. Honors*** gobies. I got a free gobie that was hiding in rock. Havnt seem it since I put it in my tank. Black with Orange and some blue maybe. I got a quick glimps

it is very sad to see their saltawater tanks that way :-( i have pics somewhere on here about that. i wouldnt trust buying liverock from them but i have bought nice pieces of dry rock that is super cheap but they dont always have alot.

I've bought livestock without problems. Honestly I think there using tap water with really old pc lighting. Maybe a huge phosephate problem, but this shouldn't affect my tank. They recieved the anenome + rock in today. The fish; Idk.

awesome pick up bro... What color maxi do you have? Bought one from shotanks for 20 and its green witha little yellow...

So that mini maxi anenome "walked",last night. I didn't think they could move so far and it is much larger than I thought. Prolly 2" wide.
