This little stick thing was attached to the sliver of rock that the Ricordia came with. I decided to leave it and see what happens and it seems to be growing. Any idea what it is?

Not sure species. It is easy to remove and most tangs eat it so i never researched it.

Manually remove it since you have the chance.
