Any of you guys ever use this tap water filter?

Guys,

I came across this tap water filter with some good reviews. I know its not RODI but an alternative to conditioned tap water any of you use this before?

I would not use that, I would get RO/DI.

I bought one in hopes of it being good. I can make about 14 gallons before the DI resin changed color. Now mind you the TDS coming into my home is in excess of 700. The unit now just collects dust. Want to buy it?

Thanks for the offer and the feedback but based on that I will pass and go with a rodi

Very good decision , go to brs and look for one they are pretty reasonable.

yeah, or use that and then run the return through the rodi unit you buy because that thing wont do what your going expect it do.

When i started out i was told to get a skimmer and use rodi water. Switching to rodi made my reef tank so much healthier and the effects of the change were clearly visible.

I wish i would made the switch sooner. I have one from BRS and it is great.
