So after stoping by twice at 2nd and charles in aurora.. I've been getting the retro gaming bug lol.. Anybody still playing those old skool retro game systems.. For me i just got two.. Still debating whether to get a dreamcast or nes or snes system.. Lol

Even though these are ancient games and systems they are still awesome!!

I have an NES and SNES, and working on getting an N64. I'm mainly getting them for the Zelda games. I have Zelda 1 and 2 for NES, A Link to the Past for SNES, Ocarina of Time for N64, Wind Waker HD for Wii U, Skyward Sword and Twilight princess for Wii, and A Link Between Worlds for 3DS. I'm not sure how extensive I'll go with my Zelda collection, but it's decent for now.
 
I just got a box back of about 45 original NES games that I had "lost" years ago... A friend of mine that I have known since I was a kid had them and had moved them from place to place when we lost touch. We recently started hanging again and he handed me the box. I was pretty pumped and need to buy a NES ASAP to get playing!!
 
I was an Old SNES player- Killer Instinct was my Game and Super Tecmo Bowl :) Maybe I'll stumble onto a system one day and bring back some old memories, Thanks for this Thread
 
Let's see... My fiancee and I are trying to build our retro collection so at the moment we have:

NES, SNES, N64, Sega, SegaCD, and we're slowly getting the rest of the cartridge systems.

There's a great retro video game dealer in Volo, IL at the Antique Mall / Car Museum. If there's something you can't find, I can almost guarantee they'll have at least 1.
They can be a little pricier, but worth it if you can't find something.

Also, if you're looking for anything in particular, I might have some sources I can ask.
 
I love mario brothers.. I play them all on my PC with my Xbox Controller. If any one wants all my NES, SNES games let me know.. over 1GB though
 
i had/have NES, SNES, GameCube, Wii, Gameboy Advance, Sega Master System, Genesis, Dreamcast, NEC TurboGrafx-16, Sony PS1, PS2, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and XBox One...i even had the little pocket pet thing that attached to the Dreamcast controller!
 
I still have my old Sega Genesis and an original Atari. Before Atari I still have the OG of gaming systems.....Pong. It was awesome. It was like playing tennis. It was black and white, had about a 1" white line one each side of the screen and a white dot that you had to bounce back and forth use the white lines as paddles.

I also have a coveted "ET" Atari game. Most people say it was the worst video game ever created. Probably why Atari buried truckloads of unsold cartridges in the desert. Personally, I was the ET master and was awesome at it.

Knowing all the spawn locations, proximity mines galore, banning Oddjob... Playing License to Kill only... ahhh... the good ole days.
