The eBay vendor (ecoreefsand) I would normally use for sand didn't have anything listed so I tried another company (crystal-reef-sand). Both companies offer free expedited shipping (usually Priority Mail) but the ecoreef stuff is a little cheaper $.87/lb vs ~$1.xx/lb for crystalreef. Both advertised that it's live sand; that can be debated on another thread.
The crystal reef sand is REALLY white. It looks like sugar in color and almost has the same grain size. It's not being blown around by my pumps but I don't keep SPS either. I think the ecoreef sand has a much more natural look but corals do look nice against a white background. If I had to get more sand I don't know which I would go with again. I'm going to see how the crystalreef sand ages and based my decision on that.
