They are the same Chinese black box fixtures as everyone else. Might as well get them from coral compulsion, they are a sponsor and will provide after purchase support.
I've had them for about 3 months now and i haven't seen any growth. (too soon?)Not even soft corals. The sps seem to like the light cuz they have good pe, but no growth. Maybe i should wait a little longer and see what happens.
As long as your polyp extension is good and they are getting an adequate amount of light there isn't much more you can do besides making the water quality the best it can be with the proper parameters
Ah I didn't realize you already had them. They are totally fine to grow coral. If they were mine I would swap out some chips for more blue but what's there will be fine if you like the look.
I'm with Ted on this. I'd get rid of some of the whites and put in blues. You'll be able to ramp up your white channel more without washing out your blues. It's personal preference though.
