Hi guys and Gals,
I need to cover back of my tank with black material (not paint - can not do it), so what are you recommend? anything can stick it in the back without paint it? Thanks.

When using vinyl that stuff that LFS sell, I used Vaseline to make it stick and no tape needed. But you will have to use a credit card or something like it to squeegie the extra vaseline out.. This was done during my freshwater day's!

Mai, BTR has a product that is like a window tint but totally black. Applies easily and sticks really really well.

I also have a Petco background. It is two-sided, black/blue. I prefer the blue and it has been taped to the back of my tank for over 3 years with no issues. It is cool, because whichever color you choose, it creates a mirror effect on the back glass. It cost me less than $10.00.

If you use window tint mix some soap and water in a spray bottle and spray it down first then use a credit card to squeegie out the bubbles and liquid. This will make a perfect wrinkle free application. good luck.
