Bad rbta split?

First I found small bits of tentacle on the sand bed. Then I saw what looks like a bad rbta split. Or is it something else ?
 
Probably decided to release from rock and float into powerhead. Might heal on its own or die. If one half looks fine, I would really think about cutting it in half and save one side. 1 clean cut is better than getting mangled up
 
There's one maxi jet near my nems and a mp10 on the other side of the tank. I can't figure out what happened.
 
The fact that it's foot is attached to the side of the tank is a good sign. Not a guarantee that it will survive, but definately a good sign none the less.
I would look to see if you can identify a mouth. If you can you may try to see if it will take some small foods like a spectrum pellet or a small mysis but nothing bigger.
