Best shop for sps

Hi there, im from minnesota and will be in the Chicago are this coming weekend. I was wondering if I can get a little help on which shops to go to for the best selection for sps. My wife is cool with the hobby but if I drive around all day trying to hit the shops out there I won't have a ride back home:( lol.

Any help would be great,

Its near North Ave. and/or Division Ave. restaurants and bars so you can go out afterwards.
 
I'm in the Northern Burbs, and I have a bunch of sticks that didn't sell from the frag swap earlier today/yesterday. If you're looking for cheap sticks, let me know! Otherwise, I'd say that Glenn at Advanced Aquatics has some heavenly sticks in most of the time. :)
 
for coral in general i dont think there is a shop that has a better selection or looking display than reefwise

^^^^ This +1 I have heard rave reviews about this place from enough people I trust that I am thinking of taking the drive up myself from Chicago, when you are in Chicago I would look at Sho Tank (on the drive in) and Reefwise
 
The few times I've been to Sho Tanks I've always seen really nice colonies and mini colonies at great prices. As long as you don't mind being saturated in the smell of cigarettes and don't want to talk to anyone when your there its a good place to go.

let us know when you'll be there. A few of us are pretty close and might swing by to welcome you. And as a recently former smoker who looks for any reason to fall off the wagon, I'd say there must be a wide range of sensitivities to various smells because I usually smell fish tanks and sawdust in there :P

Not necessary but thanks for the thought. You guys have such a great selection of SPS but some people like myself have a hard time breathing with the smoking and that keeps us from staying as long as we like and buying more.
 
next time you are in, introduce yourself so i can put a name with a face, and i will make sure that no one is smoking
