Bleaching dead rock

Hey peeps, I have some old dried out live rock, now dead of coarse, that is brown and just won't look good in the new tank. I love the shapes and want to use it but not sure if bleach will brighten it up? Any suggestions or other ways going about this?

you can read about muriatic acid, but be careful. Bleach will work also, or you can just put them in the sun for a few days.

vinegar bath and dry them out in the sun. Bleaching is a big risk with leaving traces in the crevices. Your best bet is to clean them with vinegar, and then cure the LR when you're setting up the new tank. It won't stay that color for long in the proper environment.

I've used bleach before. I rinsed the rock well and let it dry completely. I never tried muriatic acid.

Bleach will definitely whiten it up, but then you'll have to treat the rock with "prime" to remove all the chlorine.
