buying old kalkwasser

hey the lfs a few blocks from me is closing down and everything is really inexpensive, and i went to stock up on supplements but the kalk that he has looks pretty old do you think it would be ok to use or not, thanks in advance.
 
its in dixon called lornes its the only shop in town it isn't going to make it because the guy that runs it is not great at it
 
I'm no chemist but i wouldn't think that kalk expires. Now if it looks contaminated or bad then pass. Kalk is dirt cheap and not worth the risk.
 
hey thanks i think i will just order some from bulk reef because it is so old that the clear plastic bottle is turning yellow
