canister filter

Anyone have a decent sized canister filter they arent using? I need one to clear the water colum of tiny sand type particles floating around. No matter if I have the pumps on or not it absolutley will not settle. Only way I know is to run a canister to help remove them. I hate to go buy one to use it one time and then set it on the shelf......Would rent it if someone had one close to the Crystal Lake area. This hazy water is irritating me!
 
If you don’t find a canister, consider the Marineland polisher, I think i paid about $50 and have found it to be a useful little workhorse. It comes with multiple filter options, but micron filter would likely take care of your issue.
