Captive-Bred Mandarins are Coming Back

This is one fish I would definitely like to see captive bred. Yes, he is part of my wish list. Last time i tried to get one to eat frozen but that was no success. I placed him in my fuge were most of the pods are at but even there I never saw him eat. Why did ORA stop the breeding them?

They stopped because the price they had to sell them for to sustain the program, wasn't competitive enough with the cost of wild-caught fish. At the time, why would someone buy a captive-bred fish for $60, when the wild-caught one is $20. Maybe now with how much larger the captive-bred market is, and how much more awareness there is, they can actually sell them and keep breeding them.
