Chemi clean

I dosed my tank with chemi clean two days ago due to cyano outbreak. It's gotten rid of most of it. Was planning on doing a large water change tonight but ro system running slow and I don't have enough water made... How long can I go without doing the large water change and putting the skimmer back online? I have two air stones running to provide oxygen to the tank-it's all sps

how big is your tank how much water do you need? I'm in Plainfield I could probably get you some water.

An extra day or two wont hurt. If you want to be extra cautious, running carbon will help. But do not run the skimmer until the water changes as its useless with chemiclean still in the water.

Thanks for the offer but I think I'll be fine....should have enough water by tomorrow. Just runs slow in the winter

You need to run skimmer ASAP not useless will foam like crazy though so a bucket and hose will solve that overflow problem.
I have had SPS loose color and stress from not doing as directed.

I will be doing a water change first thing in the morning. Everything seems to be doing just fine
