Any ideas on cleaning acrylic , have a few small algae spots where the sun shines thru for a few hours in the a.m. guy at the LFS sold me a white pad with a handle and also a long handle scrub pad and neither will cut it ... Note to self only buy Glass tanks from now on .
thanks in advance Bryan

Like MMreef said magic eraser and a old credit card. Works da best on acrylic

thanks guys, i went and bought some 3000 grit wet sand paper but i'll head back to the store and get some magik eraser ...the tank is full of water /fish/coral and operational

Does Mr clean magic eraser really work great? I have same problem yellow spots inside of tank. I am using white pad for acrylic but it take forever to clean each yellow brown spots.

use an acrylic scraper or mr clean eraser does work. What you could do is drain the tank part way and clean the spots using distilled vinegar

Mr. Eraser will work great on anything but coralline. For coralline you need to use something plastic, as mentioned a credit card will do. Make sure it is the original magic eraser and not some scented one.

The real trick is to get it off before it's too hard to get off. I have coralline on a glass tank that is a nightmare with a razor blade
