Will trap detritus like crazy and a cuc will have a ruff time cleaning it

Because it not live sand it's like dry rock just keep it vacuumed

Well thats not gonna look natural. Buy her a ten gallon tank put that in it and few gold fish and say here u go now im gonna build a reef and play with sand not rocks

Colored substrate PITA
That stuff will make the tank suffer like having black mold or lead based paint in a house. It might not outright kill the inhabitants but it can make them suffer a whole lot.
