Please can someone help me out. I've had a hammer coral for about a month, it was doing great along with my other corals are growing and looking great. But my Hammere coral about two weeks ago has developed this bubble on it. Like I said it's been like that for two weeks. I've read other forums and have found both answer to which makes me more confused and concerned. I've read that the bubble means it's splitting into a new head which made me excited and as I kept doing more research found other forums saying that it could be from clown fish trying to host it but I never see my clown fish go by it. Or that it could be some sort of parasite and could be dying. I do biweekly water changes and use natural sea water when I do water changes. Use rodi water, skimmer reef octopus sss 1k Jns bio pellet reactor. Have aqua proflex 3 sump and have my tank for about 5 months now.. I use an aqua illumination sol blue led lights. Ill and see if I can post a pic later of my hammer coral with the bubble on it..
