Copepods.

So i have a 2.5 gallon copepod culturing tank.. I started it with some live rock and pods frm midwest coral farms and now after 14 weeks got a ton of pods :) The only thing i keep in the 2.5 gallon is a maxi mini nem, toadstool leather, some cerith snails and plate corals.. Was wondering what should i do with all the pods i have. I have a 8 gallon nuvo tank thats gonna be a nem garden and a 14 gallon biocube with YWG, yasha goby, and a ocellaris clown. I was thnking of adding them to my two tanks but whats a good fish or invert thats a good pod population controller?

yup wish you were closer too. My mandarin needs some large copepods. I've threw a few bottles in there in the last weeks but havent seen any around.

Its pretty wild cause b4 i when i started the pods were tiny specs now they are big lol.. They are crawling everywhere.. I drop like a freeze dried shrimp dip in selcon and they are like all over it lol..

would you mind to make a video of your 2.5 gallon copepod culturing tank?
what do you need to have for it?
thanks

Do u thnk if i put a mandarin in my 14 gallon would it be good and just dump some of my pods frm my 2.5?

I think you would be good as long as you keep seeing them in your 14g you should start by puting a small piece of live rock in your 2.5 that has alot of small holes then put it in your 14 thats what i do but i put in my fuge then in my DT

All this mandarin talk makes me wonder if anyone in here has ever got one eating pellets?

The pair I got, the female was pecking at nls Thera 0.5mm pellets and nutramar ova. They absolutely decimated my pod population in a matter of days. I doubt your 2.5g pod station would feed one for more than a day or two.
