Coral compulsion hanging over 40b

So i took the plunge and got the cc120p and i have it hung over the tank but idk about the coverage higher it? Thx for the help

Yeah, it looks a bit shaded on each end. I would say either higher up or if those have 90 degree optics, maybe try 120's? I had looked into getting one recently, and I could be wrong but I thought the coverage for that fixture was only supposed to be for
up to 30X24"?
 
Whats ur settings on the blues and whites? Ur lights are bout the same height as mine and have blues 100% and whites 60%.. I thnk just up ur blues and whites and u should be fine
 
Also having trouble how do u tell wat times am or pm is it military time? I really hope i didn't make a bad move buying this
 
You didn't make a bad move.. Is that a 40B is hard to lite up without using something in 36" to get the look you are use too or have seen with other members tanks.. Most crazy members will use 2 :eek:

Well now thy i figured the timing out i luv this light i jus hope my corals at the sides and bottom especially my clam will get enough light
 
Sorry to disappoint you, but looks like there is not enough light for the whole tank with only one of this fixture. Your birdnest on the left definitely will need more light then what's getting now. Your clam might be OK , looks like its Squamosa, they are not very high light loving clams. I would rearrange some of your corals if possible, get another fixture or sell this one and get different one that will cover the length of your tank. Razor would look nice on 40 breeder like yours. JMO. Good luck.

By increasing intensity of LEDs you will not increase coverage. What optics do you have on this fixture?
