can i put in a bag of chemipure and a bag of seachem denitrate in the chamber of the skimmer (where the blue stuff is)

I don't see why not. Although why denitrate? That's what the skimmer/LR/LS are for...

I have a bag phosban hanging from a string where the blue stuff is and it works good.

I use Purigen bags where the blue noodles are.
