Crab eating sps

I added this emerald crab last week and its picking away at my sps. Any suggestions? View attachment 1834All the white on my poc and BN are from this pink crab. I think I like him more than these two sps, but I don't want it to move into other corals. Btw. I've chased him away twice and it seem to be going back after em shortly after.
 
My emeralds perch and pick at my SPS but don't do any damage. Could it just be eating dead flesh off the coral because the SPS is dying?
 
Emeralds tend to do this kind of a thing. I have a couple that were doing it and got banished. The SPS was definitely not dying. I left the crab to do what it was doing and surely enough when he got off he had ripped flesh and polyps out. You could even tell when he was doing it how he scraped with force at the SPS. I've heard few more stories like this so I know it wasn't just me. I don't know if it has to do with were the crabs are coming from or what. I have one from Reefcleaners that's doing a great job and doesn't bother any coral. And then the ones I got from an LFS that are bad. Although I did notice the ones from the LFS have a darker green to them and his arms are hairy. The one from Reefcleaners is a lighter green and has no hairs at all. I don't know it's weir. . .
 
they are omnivores, so it's no suprise that if they do not have enough to eat, they would turn to sps flesh. Lotta people keep the tanks too clean to keep them, you would be surprised as to how much they need.
 
They are healthy.. it looks like he is pulling individual polyps. It's weird. I have some algae. I guess I should buy a substitute food for it. Any suggestions?

my emerald eats everything, mysis, pellets, even saw him catching live brine. my older tank i used to hand feed my emerald a clump of pellets. my only problem with mine is he likes going after the pom pom(until the pom pom whacks him with his anems.) only goes after him when feeding though, i think he thinks the anems are food lol.
