Crazy day in the reef.

First I learn that my skunk cleaner shrimp practices dentistry. My Watchman Goby had it's mouth opened wide and the cleaner was giving it dental work/cleaning for about a minute. Later on I see what looks like puffs of smoke coming from a rock in my reef. Upon closer inspection one of my snails was having a good time. There might be a free cleanup crew in my future.

I wish I coulda got a pic. I was just in awe. By the time I thought about grabbing the phone it was too late.

Fully agree. Free CUC sounds great until you have hundreds of baby snails messing with float switches, overflows and pumps.

our cleaner shrimp always did this to the Goby, it was hilarious to watch... on the flip side, I had ceriths lay eggs on the back wall several times, and we ended up getting a whole crap ton of snails. I see little baby nassarius crawling around as well, so our tank must be hospitable to the hanky panky. Good luck!!
