Hey whats up guys so i purchased a JBJ 30 last month and like always i wanted a bigger tank i should have known lol. So i went out and got a 65G with corner overflow.
My plan is to do primarily LPS i'm thinking but not 100% sure yet still debating, i want to do SPS but i'm a little hesitant just because don't really know anything about what kind of setup i'm going to need, And what exactly i'm going to need as far as equipment goes.

Equipment

-ESHOPPS ADV 100 REFUGIUM SUMP, 3RD GENERATION
-2 JEBAO RW15 POWERHEAD
-SKIMZ SK 181 KONE E-SERIES Skimmer
-Tunze 3155 ATO
-Eheim 1262 Return Pump
-70lbs of rock

that's pretty much as far as i got still undecided on what Light, Heater, or reactors i'm going to use. If anyone has any suggestions on those please let me know also if i'm missing something also let me know. Its going to be a slow build with having to build stand also probably looking somewhere around Christmas time i'm thinking when everything is all said and done. Thanks for stopping by and taking a read :-)

You will probably want a gate valve for your one drain if Herbie. And one ball valve for your return. That 1262 is a strong pump so you might want to run a reactor off it or just use the valve and dial it down.

You are really going to have to cut those rw15s back alot especially if it's not sps dominant.

You could do the 15s I'm just letting you know to run them alot slower. My 93 has a 15 and 8 on 100% mixed reef and my 30 has 2 4s on 100% sps dominated

RW15s were too big for my 125 I could only do pulse mode without blowing sand everywhere. On my new tank I have heavier sand and am gonna run my 15's on Else mode for randomized flow.

Ok cool thanks for the tip was going to go with mp10 but decided not to so I'll do rw8s

I've had good success with OR-T247 and Kessil A350 over the last couple years. I've also used the reefbrite halide/xho combo pendant with great success. If heat wasn't an issue that'd be my first choice for lighting.

T5 as well. I have T5 over my frag tank and everything does awesome. And if you want to get that more blue look you can always supplement with LED

Well I have a kessil A350 right now but was thinking of selling it and getting something else that maybe cover entire length of tank and that I can adjust since you can only manually do the a350
