Cutting gsp

So I placed a frag plug next to gsp and it grew onto it can I jut cut it right off with an exacto knife? Or will it kill the gsp

You can just tear it by hand even if you want, but no, an xacto will not kill gsp from cutting it.

I had a piece flip over and I didn't notice. It just grew around to the other side and is doing fine. Stuff is sort of scary

anyone got tips for cutting GSP off your rockwork? Can i just use my nail and scrape it off and just try and rip it off? I have some that's getting close to my zoas and i wanna get rid of it when I do my water change this weekend.

I had to get some out of my fowlr and was able to slowly scrape most of it off safely without killing it. It might depend on how porous the rock is that it is attached too. Mine had grown over coraline so it slipped off fairly easily.
