Cuttlefish are best housed in species only tanks. Being cephlapods means that they have very specific requirements that differ slightly (or drastically) from just keeping fish or coral. They are not as complicated as octopus, but still are a bit different. I would also recommend you figure out which species as some remain small, and others get large. They don't ship well either.. just a heads up on that one.
GREAT info on cephlapods and their maintenance can be found here:

You are undertaking quite a bit if you adopt a cephlapod - remember, these creatures ink, slough a lot more skin (so, BIG skimmer on both accounts), and so on. Read up before considering one. As I have not read too much about cuttlefish (I was more keen on octopus initially), I can't really advise you, but would strongly recommend you read it thoroughly. That site is a wonderful resource for squid, cuttlefish, and octopus care.
OK, in skimming the article - the short answer is no, don't do it - they need species tanks, likely due to hostilities... But, read, and you may find other ways of incorporating a cuttlefish into your home. Additionally, they require lots of live food apparently. Also something to consider. Would be curious if you do get a cuttle tank going, that would be awesome! Just might not work with other fish is all.
