Cyclop-Eeze

I recently added a Blue Gorgonia and it was recommended that I feed it Deep Frozen CYCLOP-EEZE every other day. Everything looks great so far, but here is my question to the group. Does anyone use Deep Frozen CYCLOP-EEZE or know if there is a difference between it and the Cyclop-Eeze Freeze-Dried? The freeze-dried looks to me much easier to handle and much cheaper. If anyone uses something else that they recommend over the CYCLOP-EEZE, I would be interested in your opinions as well.

My guess would be it just depends on how much you use at the time of feeding. Once the Deep Frozen is opened it will be more likely to be damaged by freezer burn. Freeze Dried will last longer and can be used in smaller amounts. Hope this helps....After reading this I may look into trying this.

Isaac Thank you. I think I will go with the freese-dried. I dont use that much in my 70 gallon tank.

Get the powder and not the flakes if you do freeze dried. The flakes float forever. I got some soaking for a day. Going to see how that works out tonight.

Thanks for the information. I did not see they had sold both powder and flakes.

Powder is the pull top can and the flake is the white plastic jar.
