Dart frog keepers?

ok so while Ive got you both on the thread here....

Im going to go the dart frog route with my 20g tall tank that has now been empty for awhile now.

is there anything in terms of layout, waterfalls, ease of maintenance that you had wished you incorporated into your build when you first started?
I have a ton of driftwood and want to make an awesome hardscape with the expandable foam and wood. What brand and where do you find the black expanding foam?

I've got most if not all the details of the build and materials in the long thread Maidai linked. It's the greatstuff black outdoor stuff, from any of the big box home stores. I took my time planning the build and don't have anything I'd have done different. Instead of driftwood, consider a denser wood like zoo-med mopani. It'll last much longer.

My $0.02, take your time and look at many, many tanks that people have built. Ask what they like that they did, disliked that they did, and what they regret not doing in their build. Make sure you focus on ease of maintenance. These things are capable of getting gross fast. I used great stuff foam from Home Depot and coated it with the pottery plaster here: http://www.vivariumforum.com/community/terra-equipment-9/research-find-habacrete-alternative-6067/ I dyed the plaster with acrylic paint from Hobby Lobby and that worked well. My next build will be with cement, as that is more durable. The only reason I didn't use cement first was that I was too impatient to wait for it to soak in vinegar for 2 weeks after, in order to eliminate the cement's ability to raise pH in the water of the paludarium. My advice, would be to do a cement structure with a water feature, and pockets built into the structure to hold live plants. Just my opinion.

Desktop grow out tank for Tinctorius Cobalt's - still need to add a couple pieces of moss for the divider area and 1-2 branches, but other than that they love it!

Nice thanks for posting pictures! Im thinking I'll be going the cement route and adding driftwood in to create some hiding spaces, still looking and figuring out my build.
