DIY Overflow

Thinking about building one tomorrow any pros/cons or better ideas would be appreciated.

I built one. Worked great for a couple months then one day it didn't work so great and I had a flood in my basement. So I fixed it and 2 weeks later another flood. Ended up draining the tank and drilling 2 holes in the back

Drill it you'll thanks us for it. Those type overflows r know for loosing siphon nd making big mess.
