Do clams expel strong water current?

Hi y'all,

So my dersa clam (about 4-5in) is blowing out water and the sugar sand is blown away on top of whatever is behind it, i.e. a mushroom and rocks. Is this normal?

Yep mine do it until they are happy i also notice this is how they turn them selves once it settles should stop just my experience
