Do you think this is Reef Safe?

I just turned on the lights and found this guy. It has to be 3 to 4 feet long if I did not break up when I pulled it out. I have not added live rock in over 8 years so I'm guessing it has been in my tank that long. I never thought I would see one in person. It's pretty cool and creepy at the same time.
 
Interesting this would explain my why I kept losing my zoos, ricordias and other soft corals in that area of the tank
 
I'm usually not the type to cringe at worms but omfggggg that thing looks scary, I couldn't imagine one being over four feet long either lol. What are you gonna do with it?!
 
I pulled a small one off my rocks a couple weeks ago, I knew they get huge and this is the reason why I didn't want to see it get that big. It would haunt my nightmares... lol
 
The picture alone gave me the shivers, then I read both articles. The thought of one is enough to consider tearing a tank down, sheesh.

It has been removed from the tank and was left in a bucket over night. It did not make it through the night.

No I did not lose any fish. Most of my fish are pretty large though.
 
Holy crap Tom. I remember pulling out a 1 1/2 footer out of my 30g a few years back and that was creepy this one topes the cake.
